fog and wind
orange leaves dancing
my heart breaking
her receding tide
once a little girl’s laughter
lost in the fog and wind blowing
past forgotten times

there are times when a particular person comes to mind when i write poetry; this particular poems protagonist is well known to me, yet i tried to make her more broad and perhaps personal to the reader. thank you for reading
