Me

some people ask
what’s going on in my head
not understanding
the visions colliding
colors mixing
the home fire’s choking
oh no no…
my thoughts running
from the day to day
where I’m nowhere
found in the lost

    I woke today and was in Awe Of ` Dawn.
    Dawn use to Whisper Her Daly Thoughts.
    Dawn Spread her Golden Rays Earthward.
    Dawn Conveyed the Other Side` Thoughts.
    I Love to ask` What’s Your Thoughts Today.

    It Be Wonderful If People Learned to Talk.
    These Times seem Odd. Folk Do Cower.
    Maybe Ocean Roar Scares Folk Away.

      the me I am is not who I was
      and for that my family doesn’t understand
      that my self-deprication was an act
      desperation
      for siblings and parents to see
      that I wasn’t the real me
      kinda like the Atlantic’s cries in the wind

  2. Brilliant. Thought provoking. Brief write running deep…

    I would like to comment on each poem (impossible) … repeat like an echo the poet Chuck!

    Echo
    BY CHRISTINA ROSSETTI
    Come to me in the silence of the night;
    Come in the speaking silence of a dream;
    Come with soft rounded cheeks and eyes as bright
    As sunlight on a stream;
    Come back in tears,
    O memory, hope, love of finished years.

    Oh dream how sweet, too sweet, too bitter sweet,
    Whose wakening should have been in Paradise,
    Where souls brimfull of love abide and meet;
    Where thirsting longing eyes
    Watch the slow door
    That opening, letting in, lets out no more.

    Yet come to me in dreams, that I may live
    My very life again tho’ cold in death:
    Come back to me in dreams, that I may give
    Pulse for pulse, breath for breath:
    Speak low, lean low,
    As long ago, my love, how long ago.

    Chuck Juno ask: can I use your poems on my photos?

    If yes will be a honor …. if not no problem!

    Regards

    Juno
